After having installed numerous headliners and tractor cab noise reduction foam projects, I found this adhesive to have a more flexible working time than other products I’ve used. The application nozzle on the widest setting sprays a wider spread than the 3M Hi strength 90, which was helpful. The spatter from the nozzle is equivalent to the 90 also. 2 medium coats seems to work best. If you need a very fine textured adhesive for whatever reason, the 3M Super 77 works well. All in all I was happy with the performance of this product. Get an extra can if you have a big project, it can always be used. Better too much adhesive than not enough. The vinyl-faced foam has a long service life (15-30 years), so don’t skimp on the adhesive. Do it right the first time and only do it once.
